Company Description
Army Navy Country Club, a full service private members only Platinum Country Club with two locations in northern Virginia, is looking for experienced Associates at our Arlington facility. We are looking to hire professionals to be on our team! Our Clubs provide members with a memorable and personable experience. Provide food and beverage service by making and serving alcoholic drinks to club members and guests. Assist as a server when needed. Assists with various bar tasks as assigned by Banquet Manager.
Job Description
1. Understand Catering Event Orders (CEO) and how to use the information for banquet bars.
2. Sets up bar and performs assigned (side) prep work.
3. Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon arrival to event bar.
4. Mixes and serves alcoholic drinks.
5. Has a working knowledge of popular member and guest drinks.
6. Checks with members and guests to ensure satisfaction with drink concoctions.
7. Serves drinks with a pleasant and mindful attitude.
8. Handles all chits prescribed by standard operating procedures.
9. Keeps bar areas clean and ready to use.
10. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
11. Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
12. Attends pre-function meetings as requested by manger.
13. Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.
14. Consistently follows local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
15. Performs other appropriate duties assigned by Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
Hourly rate $13.00 plus bonus in December.
Qualifications
must have at least 1-2 years experience
