Reports To: Reporting to Chief Business Officer and Chief Finance Officer
Position Overview
The IT Intern will support the club’s technology team by assisting with hardware installations, basic troubleshooting, and system maintenance. This hands-on role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical IT experience in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Installation & Setup
- Assist in installing, configuring, and setting up new desktops, laptops, and peripherals throughout the club.
- Ensure all devices are properly connected to the network and functioning correctly.
- Label, document, and track installed hardware for inventory purposes.
- Inventory and remove old items, ensuring proper disposal or repurposing
Technical Support
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues related to newly installed systems.
- Help staff with initial logins, system configurations, and basic IT-related questions.
- Work alongside IT staff to resolve connectivity or configuration issues.
System Maintenance
- Assist in updating and patching operating systems and software on new machines.
- Ensure proper disposal or repurposing of outdated hardware following IT policies.
- Maintain documentation of installed systems and report any recurring issues.
