Job Summary:
Restaurant Servers ensure that members have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers work in front of the business taking orders, serving food and drinks, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. Performing food and drink serving duties at breakfast, lunch, and dinner times as well as private functions and holidays. Promoting ANCC’s Five Star Service through interactions with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner.
Essential Functions:
· Provide excellent customer service
· Take orders
· Answer questions about the menu and provide recommendations
· Ensure proper set up and cleanup of stations
· Provides all members and guests with a high level of service with a smile.
· Arrives to work on time ready to work.
· Abides by all uniform & appearance standards and presents themselves in a clean and professional manner.
· Sets tables in accordance with department service standards and performs all necessary and/or assigned side work.
· Follows safe food handling practices.
· Clears tables in accordance with department service standards.
· Keeps all tables, rooms and side stands clean/sanitary and clear of clutter.
· Performs all necessary and/or assigned clean up and closing duties.
· Performs any additional responsibilities as outlined by supervisors or management
· Adheres to all ANCC policies and expectations as addressed in the employee handbook
Qualification Standards:
Education: At least High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: Experience preferred but not required
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift a minimum of 20lbs
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, including but not limited to, wind, sun, heat and cold.
- Ability to work during varied hours of the day and days of the week
- Strong command of the English language
General availability:
Tuesday-Friday 9am-10pm
Saturday-Sunday 7am-10pm
Available to work holidays
