Job Summary:
A Waste Management team member at ANCC is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and sustainability of waste disposal processes across the facility. Key duties include collecting and sorting waste, recycling materials, maintaining waste disposal equipment, adhering to environmental and safety regulations, and collaborating with staff to promote eco-friendly practices. This role contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally conscious environment for members and employees.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Separate recyclable and non-recyclable refuse
- Get used to the smell of waste materials
- Ability to drive a mini truck, and deposit trash into proper containers and keep trash area clean of debris, oils, etc.
- Candidate must know how to use a pressure washer/power washer machine
- Candidate must have good driving skills and driving record, in accordance with state laws, and have a valid state driver’s license that he/she must always carry with him/her while he/she drives
- Must be able to work independently throughout his duty, he must be highly motivated and follow the correct procedures in handling the waste collected. There is minimal supervision while doing the work
- Candidate must be a high school graduate and physically strong for the handling of waste disposal
