Arnaud’s seeks an experienced Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Arnaud’s, founded in 1918, is a family-operated traditional Creole Restaurant.
We are seeking a hardworking, positive team player who will assist the Pastry Chef in all aspects of the pastry department.
The candidate must have a strong work ethic, a passion for culinary arts and some professional experience. In this role you will help make cookies, breads, pastries and other dessert components according to pre-established recipes.
Job responsibilities
Bake pastry items according to pre-established recipes
- Decorate items in a consistent style
- Follow portion standards
- Properly label and store ingredients
- Keep kitchen area and tools clean
Job requirements
Pastry making experience
- The ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Warm, friendly upbeat personality/attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
