Arnel Management Company, a premiere Real Estate Development and Residential Multi-Family Company for over 50 years, is looking for a Recruiting Assistant to join our team within the Residential division!
Job Responsibilities:
- Seek out top quality talent and fill all open positions for our 19 apartment communities that meets the needs of the company
- Source and identify candidates through employee and internal referrals, effective online ads, applicant tracking systems, job fairs, etc.
- Maintain resume flow through multitude of job board sites, social networking, and other websites
- Updating job descriptions with the assistance from Regional Supervisors and the VP of Administration
- Administrative duties include but not limited to filing, copying, mailing, ordering office supplies, scheduling according to needs of Recruiting Director as well as VP
- Attend college and career events
- Interview candidates by phone to evaluate applicant’s work history, education, job skills, and qualifications against open requirements
- Negotiate salary and hourly rates, extend employment offers to successful candidates, and complete new hire paperwork
- Present analytics with well documented recruiting reports, weekly numbers, and performance to the Regional Supervisors and the Executive team
- Help construct performance and financial review analytics with the Recruiting Director
- Assist in HR administrative duties as needed
- Represent the company through professional demeanor, etiquette, and appearance
Job Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with various selection processes in recruiting such as phone, in person, reference checks, and employment verifications
- Highly detail oriented, able to work diligently and independently
- Ability to conduct difference types of interviews (structured, competency based, stress)
- Some knowledge of property management a plus
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems is a plus
- Bachelors Degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
