Arni's Restaurants have been serving Indiana for over 60 years! We are looking for fun and motivated Servers to continue the tradition!
An Arni’s Server is an integral part of the day-to-day operation and leads guests through the menu selection process, offers suggestions, and serves our food and beverages with genuine hospitality. The perfect server will establish rapport with guests, deliver a memorable dining experience, collaborate well with fellow team members, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and follow established health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining room and server stations for service, before and after scheduled shift
- Follow Arni’s service standards to provide great food and genuine hospitality to each guest
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcoholic beverage control policies
- Guide guest through their dining experience by displaying knowledge and expertise with menu items
- Collect guest payments and manage financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency
Requirements and skills
- Prior serving experience is preferred
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work at a consistently fast pace in an independent manner
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete Indiana Alcohol Service Training and acquire a valid Liquor License
- Ability to pass the menu test at the end of training
