The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of modular building construction within a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining & prioritizing the production schedule based on schedule dates and ensuring projects are completed on time and focusing on increasing production levels while adhering to safety and quality standards. The supervisor will lead the team, manage scheduling, and maintain effective communication with the Manufacturing Manager. The supervisor will also work indirectly with Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management, and other departments to communicate needs or updates to drawings, materials, or project status.

Job Description:
- Schedule and supervise production workers for their daily needs.
- Oversee and actively participate in interviewing, making hiring recommendations, training, and integrating new team members.
- Lead the employees by setting an excellent example to promote a positive environment.
- Ensure production operations are conducted according to specification sheets and blueprints.
- Determine task priorities and revise scheduling based on labor availability.
- Maintain area operations within established production and quality standards.
- Ensure materials needed for production are available on time and in adequate quantity.
- Recognize and resolve operating problems promptly to minimize their effect on safety and production schedules.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Organize tracking of current and accurate records on production, work performance, and employee attendance.
- Enforce compliance with safety rules and regulations, directing others in safe tool use.
- Adhere to and cultivate 5S and lean principles for manufacturing excellence.
- Collaborate in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor material usage to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
- Maintain knowledge of work rules and procedures to ensure fair treatment of workers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge and experience with Lean Principles, specifically 5S.
- Proven commitment to high safety operation standards.
- Preferred certification: OSHA 10 - Construction.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
- Quality-driven individual with a balance between production volume and quality standards.
- Ability to lead and motivate production team members.
- · Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels.
- Strong communication skills for effective leadership and training.
- Computer experience for data presentation (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous construction experience.
