Summary:
Under the direction of the Vocation Program Manager, the employee will perform job duties according to set standards. The employee may work under direct supervision of the Arnold Center staff, or under the supervision of a work site supervisor employed by the host company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all duties assigned by Arnold Center supervisor and/or work site supervisor.
· Employees scheduled to work at the Arnold Center may be required to perform, but not limited to, the following operations:
o Stock Collection/Packaging
o Benchwork (Packaging, Assembly, etc)
o Foot Pedal operated seater
· Maintain sufficient communication with supervisor to convey pertinent job-related information.
· Adhere to all safety procedures as outlined in agency and work site policies.
· Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant agencies and work site operational procedures.
· Maintain functional knowledge of the agency safety program and follow established regulations and procedures; promotes safe operations on the job and actively participates in the agency safety program. Compliance with site safety procedures/communication procedures
· Attend in-service training as described in agency policies.
· Ensure confidential information relating to the agency and customers is used appropriately and always kept private.
· Maintain accurate time sheets and submit in a timely manner.
· Maintain supplies and equipment as assigned.
· Always maintain clean/safe work area.
· Ensure work produced complies with quality and quota standards.
· Actively participate in training as required.
· At all times wear personal protective equipment as required including Clean-Room gown.
· Promote safe operations on the job by using good judgment and following established safety regulations and procedures.
· Demonstrate a positive and collaborative attitude that contributes to and encourages the cooperation of others.
· Demonstrate the ability to perceive pertinent task related detail to recognize similarities and differences as they pertain to color, form (detail), texture, temperature, and size.
· Demonstrate the ability to learn and retain job requirements whether verbal, written, or diagramed within accepted ("normal") standards of time and trial. (Remembers and carries out instruction).
· Demonstrate dependability by requiring little or no supervision to follow through on routine assignments.
· Maintain good attendance as described in agency personnel policies. Be on time for site transportation.
· Demonstrate functional/working knowledge of all equipment essential to perform job functions.
· Demonstrate ability be flexible and accept frequent changes in job assignments.
· Demonstrate good judgment in attitude and behavior - must be a positive role model for co-workers. Be aware of dress, speech and actions at all times.

Minimum Requirements:
· Position specific (math and reading skills may be required for certain assignments).
· 1 year experience in general labor. Experience and training relevant to job duties preferred.
