The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for delivering value-added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will champion a diverse workforce throughout the employee life cycle. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management.The HRBP is a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
- Responsible for administering a performance management program that operates in a progressive cycle of discussions where employees receive clear feedback and appreciation throughout the year
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling and career development)
- Mediates and resolves complex workplace or interpersonal barriers to performance. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Administrative Tasks/Projects:
- US lead for global HR projects within the ARNOLD Group
- Reporting and documenting all HR related KPI’s for current and future planning (i.e., org charts, financial metrics, etc.)
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with corporate legal department as needed/required
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Payroll and Benefits:
- Organize all payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations
- Facilitates audits and resolves discrepancies and non-compliance issues related to payroll and benefits
- Resident expert and administrator of employee benefit programs (i.e., health, retirement, and medical leaves/disabilities)
Employee Engagement:
- Works closely with management and employees to organize all employee gatherings designed to improve work relationships, build morale and bond employees to the organization
Work with Business Resource Network to facilitate employee concerns and/or needs
Recruiting and Onboarding:
Recruiting and succession planning
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
- Document and update job descriptions to ensure clarity of duties and responsibilities
Training and Development:
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met and documented
- Responsible for all duties of Company Compliance Officer
- Assist Quality Department to ensure compliance of QMS (Quality Management System)

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or HR Management required, master’s degree preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Profession (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment preferred
