Position Summary :
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the physical upkeep and operations of multiple affordable housing properties. This individual will work closely with CEO, Area Vice Presidents and Regional Property Managers with a focus on maintenance and special projects, manage vendor relationships, trac, and ensure that maintenance staff deliver timely and high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations.
- Coordinate and prioritize service requests, preventative maintenance schedules, and unit turnovers.
- Supervise and support maintenance technicians, ensuring work is performed efficiently and meets quality standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, obtain bids, and oversee contracted services.
- Ensure all properties comply with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with budget planning and monitor expenses related to maintenance operations.
- Conduct routine property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure resident satisfaction and timely response to maintenance issues.
