We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team with the potential for a full-time role based on performance.
Position Overview :
As a Temporary Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of our multifamily community. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks and a commitment to providing excellent service to residents. This is a temporary position with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance in common areas, building exteriors, and individual apartment units.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard of quality.
- Assist with preparing vacant units for new residents, including painting, repairs, and cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the property, including trash removal, snow / ice removal, and groundskeeping as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and property policies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Property Manager to identify larger maintenance needs or capital improvements.
