Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Part-Time Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks at our property. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing top-notch service to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and energy efficiency.
- Conduct pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment repair, to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Complete work orders for repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and property management staff.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: HVAC Certification and Pool Maintenance Certification.
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in multifamily housing or a similar setting.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or holidays as needed.
