Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Non-CDL Driver to join our team at Arnold Lumber Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering materials to job sites as scheduled by the dispatcher.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials on time and communicate with customers, employees, and supervisors.
- Verify product quality and counts of loads.
- Organize and secure loads to ensure safe transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the yard, warehouse, and vehicle.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs to the dispatcher.
- Follow operational procedures regarding invoicing, credits, inspection reports, and delivery tickets.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and health card required.
- Clean DMV record and ability to drive a commercial motor vehicle across state lines.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 40 hour workweek with opportunities for overtime.
- Six months of driving experience driving a truck.
