Job Overview:
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Construction Equipment Rental Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, identifying their equipment needs, and providing tailored rental solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, sales-oriented, and passionate about the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the construction and industrial sectors.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate rental equipment solutions.
- Process rental orders, including quotes, contracts, and scheduling.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of rental equipment, working closely with logistics and service teams.
- Stay informed about the company's equipment inventory, availability, and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, rental agreements, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Achieve or exceed sales goals and KPIs for rental revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts or equipment returns.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and construction market developments.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in construction equipment rentals or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction equipment and its applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Related experience may substitute for educational requirements.
