We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our comprehensive machinery support team. This role is essential to maintaining Arnold's reputation in the marketplace, and we offer extensive training to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Repair and Maintenance : Service and maintain construction and mining equipment, ensuring machinery operates at peak efficiency.
- Travel : Visit various job sites, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues as they arise.
- Disassembly and Reassembly : Break down, clean, and reassemble construction equipment based on service manuals and guidelines.
- Parts & Diagnostics : Measure and assess parts for wear, recommending replacements as necessary, and using diagnostic tools to adjust equipment systems.
- Repairs : Perform minor welding, plumbing, alignment, and electrical repairs (DC).
- Team Leadership : Guide and supervise other technicians in equipment repairs.
- Service Documentation : Complete and maintain service reports in English, track work orders, and communicate job progress with customers.
- Customer Interaction : Field service calls, take purchase orders, and manage warranty-related tasks.
- Special Projects : Assist with various additional duties as needed to support service operations.
