What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Trade Associate - Junior Level position at Arnold & Porter?
The Washington, DC office of Arnold & Porter is seeking a junior associate for the International Trade practice, who will focus on antidumping and countervailing duty cases before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Our leading International Trade practice handles the full range of international and national legal issues encompassing international trade regulation and disputes, and our clients include U.S. and international corporations, international governments, international organizations, trade associations, nongovernmental organizations, and individuals in virtually all aspects of international trading activity. Qualified applicants for this position should have experience working on antidumping and countervailing duty cases. U.S. Court of International Trade / U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit experience and foreign language skills are a plus. All applicants must have excellent academic credentials and references and be interested in joining a close, collegial group of practitioners.
Applicants must currently be licensed, or currently be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.
Eligibility for an hours-based bonus available.
