Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 per year
We are seeking an energetic and driven individual to join our team as the Admissions Director . In this vital role, you will be the primary liaison between hospitals, referral sources, families, and our interdisciplinary team to ensure a seamless admissions process. Your efforts will directly impact the growth and maintenance of our daily census.
Key Responsibilities :
- Communicate promptly with hospitals, referral sources, and family members to coordinate admissions.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support census growth.
- Monitor and identify operational challenges affecting admissions, reporting to administration, and assisting in the development of solutions.
- Participate in marketing and outreach events to build and maintain the facility’s positive image and relationships.
- Oversee visitor and guest privileges, ensuring clear communication of procedures.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and community organizations to generate consistent admissions.
- Ensure accurate financial verification before admission and communicate details to the interdisciplinary team.
- Stay informed about regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement processes.
- Compile and report monthly statistics to the admissions team.
