Emergency Roadside Assistance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Roadside Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing immediate assistance to motorists experiencing vehicle breakdowns or emergencies. You will work independently, often in high-pressure situations, ensuring that our customers receive prompt and effective service.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency roadside assistance requests from customers.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on-site, including tire changes, jump-starts, automobile lockouts and fuel delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with customers about their vehicle issues and the services being provided.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within your service vehicle.
• Document all services performed and report any additional needs for the vehicle to the appropriate personnel.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and safety protocols to ensure safe working conditions.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools is essential.
• Previous experience in a roadside assistance or automotive repair role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers during stressful situations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $400.00 - $1,300.00 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call
• Weekends only
