What are the responsibilities and job description for the Falck Cancer Center – Medical Oncology – NP position at Arnot Health?
The Falck Cancer Center located in Elmira, NY is looking to add a warm, qualified, and dedicated Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to the team.
Full Time position available. Monday through Friday, primarily daytime hours. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with an established ambulatory oncology team. Responsibilities include direct patient care in the ambulatory clinic and provider coverage of the onsite infusion center. Much of the care includes new patient evaluations and management of acute illness, symptoms management, coordination of palliative care services and patient / family education.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills with proven ability in exercising independent judgment and initiative. Must be NYS eligible for NP certification. NYS License and DEA required. Experienced providers preferred but new grads are encouraged to apply!
