Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (cpr) Requirements
No CPR required.
Physical Demands
Physical effort required. Lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching and/or stooping involved. Required to be on feet much of the time.
Exposure Category
Category III. Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. And Category I tasks are not a condition of employment.
MAIN FUNCTION:
Receives, stores and issues supplies and equipment delivered to and generated from the Arnot Health Storeroom.
Duties And Responsibilities
- 1. Receives incoming shipments. Unpacks, inspects, and verifies correctness of delivery. Completes electronic documentation of receipts via Lawson entries.
- 2. Stores supplies in correct location.
- 3. Using Lawson web-based electronic supply chain system, issues supplies from stock to fill requisitions and delivers them to requisitioner. Completes Lawson transactions proficiently.
- 4. Delivers non-stock supplies or equipment. Completes documentation.
- 5. Assists in the handling of outgoing materials. Packs instruments, equipment or other goods for shipment.
- 6. Assists in taking inventories.
- 7. Maintains Storeroom in an orderly manner.
- Is familiar with and demonstrates Customer satisfaction principles and participates in the process as appropriate.
- Mail Distribution-Sorts, posts and distributes mail to their respective slots (SJH & IRA campus only).
- Is responsible for attending all annual mandatory educational programs as required by position.
- Employee understands and demonstrates the importance of satisfying the needs of the customer/patient by interacting with him/her in a friendly and caring way, being attentive to the customer’s needs, both psychologically and physically, and by taking the initiative to maintain communication with the customer in order to provide a secure and pleasant experience at Arnot Health.
