We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation and enhancement of CNC machinery and related equipment and will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Position Summary:
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of faulty components.
- Assemble and install mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and systems such as production CNC machinery/tools.
- Design, develop and implement preventative maintenance programs on machinery and mechanical systems.
- Perform required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. Analyze and update associated data and logs.
- Utilize computer program to track and update jobs and service requests.
- Evaluate data to determine equipment performance.
- Perform precision alignments and other tests associated with installation, qualification and/or calibration of machinery and equipment. Document results of alignments and calibrations.
- Utilize equipment manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to aid in troubleshooting and repair of tools and equipment.
- Review service requests for repairs and maintenance, determine nature of problem, and recommend appropriate solution.
- Source and order parts, supplies and services.
- Safely operate forklifts and man-lifts.
- Ensure that equipment is in a safe condition and utilize the Lock-Out Tag-Out program.
- May have assigned duties in carrying out the hazardous materials program.
- Participate in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.)
- Implement the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.
- May be required to work overtime.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with CNC motion control (Fanuc, Haas etc.) is required.
- Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement experience a plus.
- Experience operating forklift, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
- Experience with trouble shooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and CNC controls.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
