Accounts Payable - Contract To Permanent Opportunity

An established, family owned fashion and apparel organization based in Midtown Manhattan are looking for a Payables Specialist to join the business on a contract-permanent basis.
The organization are stable and have multiple lines of business. The culture is cohesive and flexible with a typical family run feel to it. The office has 12-15 people onsite on any given day, however the organization has a total of 40 employees spread across distribution and manufacturing sites.
The position will report directly into the CEO and will take accountability for:
- Invoice management
- Processing of wire, ACH and check payments
- Vendor account reconciliations
- Monitoring payables spend and ensuring compliance to company policy
- Expense management
- Overseeing company credit card reconciliations
- Ad hoc reporting and payables tasks when required
Applicants must have experience of utilizing Quickbooks. Other key requirements include:
- Experience within payables previously (At least 2 years)
- Be willing to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan
- Be a self starter
- Be able to manage your own workload
- Be able to work independently but as part of a wider team
- Have experience within a product led industry, ideally manufacturing, retail, wholesale, E-Commerce
This is an urgent requirement and will be offered on a contract to permanent basis.
Salary : $26 - $30
