Contract to Hire Senior Staff Accountant Opportunity In Bronx, NY - $33-38 per hour

Our client based in Bronx are looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant to their team on a contract to hire basis. The organization operate within the manufacturing and engineering sector.

What is the position? The role will be a Senior Staff Accountant position taking a lead on all elements of payables, billing, receivables and payroll administration. You will also be involved in supporting with the monthly close including journal entries, prepayments and reconciliations.
What is the salary on offer? The salary is between $70,000 and $80,000 per annum which will initially be offered on an hourly basis. This is due to the position being a contract to hire opportunity. This is a site based requirement in Bronx.
What experience is needed? To be considered, applicants must have a background within finance and accounting with proven experience of payables, billing, reconciliation, payroll administration and supporting with monthly close tasks. Unfortunately applications that do not have this experience will not be progressed. Exposure to manufacturing environments would be advantageous but not essential.
What is the ideal start date? The CFO is looking for someone to start with the business ASAP on a contract basis.
