Job Description:

SAP Technical Project Manager with a strong background in managing SAP ABAP with SAP S/4 HANA upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading large-scale SAP technical projects, particularly in the areas of system upgrades, migrations, and transformations, and possess in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Manage and lead end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA upgrade projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure expectations are met.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including SAP technical consultants, developers, and analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
• Upgrade & Migration: Oversee and manage SAP S/4 HANA upgrades, including planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, define milestones, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and methodologies in all project phases.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of project scope, timelines, deliverables, and post-project reviews.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, key milestones, and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 15-20 years of hands-on experience in SAP project management, with at least 5 years managing SAP ABAP with SAP S/4 HANA upgrade or migration projects.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, modules, and upgrade methodologies. Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and other related technologies.
• Project Management: Strong expertise in project management, with proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Client Interaction: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in engaging and managing client relationships.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead large, complex projects and work with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Certifications: PMP or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Lucid: Knowledge of Lucid's business processes and systems will be considered a strong plus.
• S4 HANA Experience: Additional certifications in SAP S/4 HANA, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate or similar, are a plus.
• Process Improvement: Background in process optimization and continuous improvement within SAP systems.

Location:

• This is a full-time position based in Newark, CA. The role requires a 5-day in-office presence.
