*IMMEDIATE HIRE* 2ND SHIFT 12:00pm-8:30pm
Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to restock raw materials, track inventory levels, and ensure production workers have the materials needed to keep the manufacturing process running smoothly. The Material Handler will also play a vital role in ensuring materials are transported efficiently to and from production areas using various equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restocking Raw Materials: Continuously monitor material levels and restock raw materials, ingredients, and packaging components to production areas to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Material Distribution: Safely transport materials from storage areas to production lines, ensuring timely delivery to meet production needs. Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move materials efficiently within the facility.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and finished products in compliance with safety standards. Ensure proper care and maintenance of the equipment.
- Assist Production Workers: Work closely with production staff to understand material needs and restock workstations as required. Ensure production teams always have the necessary supplies to maintain workflow.
- Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and packaging for any defects or damage upon arrival and before use. Report any quality issues or discrepancies in material quantities to the appropriate personnel.
- Material Organization and Storage: Ensure materials are properly organized in storage areas, with a focus on maximizing space and maintaining an organized system. Ensure materials are stored according to safety and quality standards to avoid contamination.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols while handling materials and operating forklifts. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company health and safety standards.
- Assist with Returns: Help manage the return of unused or excess materials to storage, ensuring materials are correctly labeled, stored, and accounted for.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing, ideally within the fragrance or cosmetics industry.
- Ability to lift and move materials and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with production workers and supervisors.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
