Cook 1 Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in training fellow team members and supervising an assigned area of responsibility
- Assist with organizing people and products for successful food service
- Assist with leading the team to maintain a high level of kitchen order and cleanliness
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh properly produced and presented
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
- Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods
- Use kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers, and warmers in food preparation
- Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes
- Occasionally serve food and interact with Members
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
- Handle and store ingredients and food
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards consistent with state and local health department regulations
- Practice and abide by all Club policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or resort
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork
- Passion for food and service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Additional Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in A La Carte Stations including Grill, Sauté, and Garde Manger
- Experience with Catering/Banquets
