- Oversee all product quality and operational excellence standards for an Arooga’s restaurant. Direct local community marketing efforts and adapt to market conditions. Manage and train other managers. Manage sales and profitability, and oversee the budget and reporting. Responsible for the development of team, their overall succession process planning, training, and retention.
- Maintains a strong culture based platform within the restaurant.
- Supports goals and objectives as outlined in company mission statement.
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
- Possesses strong and proven communication skills.
- Ensure that all food and products are high quality and prepared and served following set standards.
- Manages and oversees company off premise catered events. Plans around menu, staffing, and logistics in coordination with corporate office contact.
- Manages and ensures the operational execution of catering activity for all restaurants in coordination with corporate office contact. Responsible for ensuring staffing, quality, resources, and logistics for delivery are executed as planned and expected.
- Ensure store achieves objectives in sales, profitability, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation/cleanliness.
- Develops and ensures execution of monthly marketing plan. Provides a strong and sales driving grass roots program within the restaurants community.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development. Strong manpower and succession planning skills. Has strong bench strength and actively coaches and mentors team to success.
- Train and develop new managers. Oversee and manage MIT program under the direction of Director of Training.
- Make employment and termination decisions.
- Develop the budget and oversee the execution of the budget over the year.
- Analyze financial reports and makes necessary management decisions when necessary. Has the full ability to manage company cost control and labor programs.
- Conduct weekly manager meetings.
- Effectively manages shifts as needed.
- Supports and aggressively manages Arooga’s guest recovery program and restaurants atmosphere is vibrant at all times.
- Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
