Experience working with children in a child care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with diverse populations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Current CDA and in process of attaining a college degree
First Aid and CPR certification
Ability to work a flexible schedule and pass required background checks
Work Environment:
Classroom setting with frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
Occasional local travel may be required, sometimes in inclement weather
Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and other bodily fluids

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and preparing classroom activities and field trips
- Record observations of children and assist in planning programs to meet their physical, social, emotional, and educational needs
- Prepare and supervise nutritious meals and snacks as required by program and/or staffing
- Share in maintenance of center, equipment, and supplies
- Serve as bus monitor as necessary
- Complete programmatic and Agency reports as required
- Assist with home visits, on-site visits, and parent conferences
