Position Overview:
The Recovery Support Center Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned Recovery Support Centers. This role ensures all operations meet contractual, budgetary, and agency requirements, while also fostering an environment of peer support to help participants advance in their recovery process. As a Recovery Support Center Manager, you will demonstrate AMHC’s core values—Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect—in all interactions with co-workers, clients, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Respectful Supervision to Support Center staff and volunteers to ensure excellence in recovery services and alignment with AMHC values.
- Ensure Integrity by overseeing the programming and financial management of the Recovery and Support Center.
- Promote Collaboration and Compassion with staff and volunteers, as well as with local and statewide community resources.
- Offer Peer Support by establishing and maintaining a service-focused, mutually beneficial relationship to support participants’ recovery goals.
Schedule:
- This is a 40-hour-per-week non-exempt position.
- A minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field is required.
- Supervisory/management experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, communicate effectively, and transport peer center participants as needed.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Must be willing to self-identify.
