What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Office Assistant position at Aroostook Regional Transportation System, Inc.?
The Aroostook Regional Transportation System (ARTS) has an immediate position available for a Bookkeeper/Office Assistant. The appropriate candidate will be proficient in using QuickBooks and capable of managing a variety of complex financial functions. As an essential office employee, the Bookkeeper/Office Assistant will have experience using Microsoft Office programs, electronic accounting, and payroll systems, be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and can manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Preference will be given to candidates with an Associate Degree in Accounting, a minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience, and non-profit accounting experience.
This position will begin as full-time employment. ARTS offers a competitive benefits package for full-time employees.
