Description
Overall Responsibility : We are looking for a Civil / Site Development Project Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include technical management and oversight for existing or new projects, acting as client / Company liaison to represent the Company's interests and simultaneously maintain good relationships with clients.
Essential Functions :
- Manages and coordinates design and construction phase services for Site / Civil projects both with internal staff resources and with external subconsultants, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
- Responsible for ensuring that Civil / Site deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved.
- Initiates, manages, and completes project documents including details scope, outline, budget and schedule for completion.
- Perform professional Civil / Site engineering work and assist with conducting site investigations and inspections to determine existing conditions, verify conformance with construction documents.
- Identifies needed internal and external project resources and works with Corporate Practice Leads to assigns team members.
- Ensures all procedures and steps are in accordance with Company standards.
- Acts as client / Company liaison, keeping both appropriately informed of project status.
- Represents Company at project meetings.
- Communicates project changes and / or variation information appropriately.
- Supervises the work of other staff when assigned.
- Consults and coordinates with Supervisor and other senior management members at regularly scheduled meetings to review status of active and future projects.
- Assist Program and Project Managers with scope and fee development.
- Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work.
