Sr. Scheduler - Cost Estimator (Part-time)

Job Summary: The Sr. Project Scheduler (Part-time) will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 (Pro). This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely project completion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all administrative tasks and sites involved in the project.
• Collaborate with project team members to identify project activities, phases, and timeframes.
• Ensure that project schedules align with project goals and objectives.
• Identify and document critical paths and dependencies within project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders about the status, risks, and issues associated with the schedule.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation according to project schedules.
• Utilize project management software tools to enhance scheduling and tracking efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project schedules and milestones.
• Implement risk management procedures to mitigate delays and disruptions to project schedules.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project team members.
• Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with established standards

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) are preferred.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 3 years of experience using Primavera P6 Pro.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, particularly Primavera P6 Pro.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with large construction projects, greater than $100MM and construction programs a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial, transportation, and/or government clients a plus.
