Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Provide high-quality care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the daycare setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience in infant care is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
- Experience in caregiving or babysitting is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A compassionate approach towards children, fostering their growth and independence.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
