Fabrication Supervisor
Summary :
Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, the Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for mentoring the production team to ensure that employees are following established procedures to produce quality products in an environment that is focused on safety. The Fabrication Supervisor actively works to promote a positive work environment that encourages and values employee input.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Collaborate with Team Leads to direct production activities in accordance with the production schedule and established priorities while maximizing the utilization of assigned resources, machines, personnel, and materials.
- Perform regular audits of products to verify quality integrity.
- Provide leadership to maintain high standards of work.
- Work with Team Leads to assess employee talent and developmental needs. Develop and maintain a skills matrix and training plans for employees.
- Encourage team members to actively participate in idea generation regarding changes to production methods, processes, or equipment.
- Assist team members in the interpretation of procedures, methods, and correct use of production equipment to ensure compliance.
- Conduct employee performance reviews and establish career development plans.
- Address complaints and resolve issues in accordance with company policies.
- Enforce a culture that prioritizes safety by operating as a safety advocate for the department.
- As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them.
