Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Arqai LLC, a privately-owned collection of four innovative smart home companies based in Florida. We are currently seeking a CAD Designer for our Elxai brand in the Naples region, specializing in intelligent products and cloud-based services for high-end custom homes.
As our CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining floor plans and low-voltage system layouts for both new construction and remodel projects. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and project managers to ensure that low-voltage options and smart home solutions are seamlessly integrated while allowing for customization to meet each client's unique needs
Additionally, you will update and refine existing CAD drawings to reflect design modifications and installation requirements, all while maintaining organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project records.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 2 years of experience in CAD drafting or design
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Knowledge of structured cabling, security systems, and AV design (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales and project teams
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Affinity Designer 2 (preferred)
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365
Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000 per year (Commensurate Upon Experience)
