ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Informatics Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging clinical requirements with IT solutions within our behavioral health organization. This position involves collaborating with clinical, business, and IT teams to design, configure, and optimize workflows in the Epic EHR system. The analyst will ensure that system configurations meet organizational needs, maintain data integrity, and comply with regulatory standards. Additionally, the role includes providing support during system implementations, conducting testing, and delivering end-user training to enhance system adoption and usability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather and interpret business and clinical requirements.
- Design and refine Epic workflows to improve clinical and operational efficiencies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Configure and customize Epic modules to support effective implementation and maximize system capabilities.
- Participate in the implementation process, from initial requirements mapping to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Conduct thorough testing of system configurations to ensure functionality, data integrity, and user satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support to clinical and operational staff, troubleshooting issues and ensuring users have the necessary resources.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to integrate system data with reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Define requirements for clinical and operational reports, ensuring accurate data capture and availability for stakeholders.
- Support initiatives that leverage data for quality improvement and operational insights.
- Coordinate with training teams to develop and deliver comprehensive end-user training on Epic workflows and features.
- Work with team members to improve usability and adoption of Epic features, ensuring system stability.
- Act as a liaison between IT and clinical/business teams to manage expectations and resolve issues.
- Stay up to date with Epic advancements and industry best practices in clinical informatics and EHR optimization.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Epic functionality, promoting continuous improvement aligned with clinical and operational objectives.
- Actively contribute to discussions around future technology initiatives that may benefit the organization.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Epic certification or proficiency strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on EHR implementation and workflow optimization.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Epic workflows.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare informatics setting.
- Deep knowledge of Epic functionality, customization options, and configuration processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving results through collaboration and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Position is Remote
- Full-time employment
- Some travel for annual leadership retreats, team meetings, etc.
- Reports to Director of Informatics
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 anually. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
