A typical day might include:

  • Assisting with development of clinical behavior assessments, treatment plans, and programming
  • Providing training and feedback to those implementing the plans
  • Conducting behavior therapy sessions in the home, community, or clinic
  • Electronic data collection and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be competent and willing to perform crisis intervention physical managements as trained
  • Reliable transportation due to frequent travel as caseloads are dispersed throughout surrounding counties
  • RBT not required upon hire but must be obtained within 45 days of employment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):

  • Adhere to weekly schedule expectations: availability and willingness to work 40 hours per week during core hours, which typically fall between 8:00am and 8:00pm Monday through Friday but may fluctuate depending on the needs of the organization, program, or caseload present; at least 68.75% billable (schedule for 30 to account for cancellations); eligible to bill up to 10% line tier
  • Participate in performance management system, inclusive of feedback surveys/checklists
  • Maintain schedule and availability across all platforms pertaining to employment status and position
  • Timely submission of timesheets/billing
  • Complete all assigned trainings in timely fashion

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Physical Requirements - Requires repetitive manual and finger dexterity and eye- hand coordination; requires the ability to use all office equipment; and the ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds using appropriate body mechanics.
  • Visual, Hearing, and Communication Requirements - Must be able to read, understand and communicate information and ideas orally and in writing to effectively communicate with others.
  • Pressure Factor- This position may require employees to adapt to a frequently changing environment, including handling and de-escalating incidents. This position will interact with individuals who are intellectually and developmentally delayed, may be frail, confused, and at times engage in verbal or physical aggression. Accordingly, it is sometimes necessary to deal with unpleasant situations with the need to problem solve.
