Array Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring the timely and accurate recording of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial reports, providing variance analysis and commentary on business performance to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain and update the general ledger by posting accurate and timely journal entries.
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including cash, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes (e.g., NetSuite); familiarity with QuickBooks and other ERPs is required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in the preparation of audit materials.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation for annual financial audits.
- Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for tax reporting purposes.
- Assist with state, federal, and local tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Leverage accounting systems and tools to automate routine tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements that enhance the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting.
Position Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build financial models and perform complex reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
