Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technician to join our Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) department in Wichita, KS, on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performing high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility-specific protocols, including safety and infection control standards.

Requirements:

• Current certification as an MRI Technician (ARRT or equivalent).
• State licensure in Kansas (if required).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in MRI imaging.
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including knowledge of contrast media administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work night shifts and commit to a 13-week contract.
