About the Role
We are seeking a competent and experienced House Supervisor to join our Nursing Administration team. This registered nurse will assume responsibility for coordinating and directing activities across nursing units and other departments in the absence of Nurse Managers and Administration. This position plays a key role in providing leadership, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a high level of patient care and staff support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee nursing unit activities during the assigned shift.
- Act as a representative of nursing leadership, exhibiting professional behavior at all times.
- Supervise and support staff in providing general nursing care to patients.
- Serve as a resource and liaison for patients, employees, administration, management, physicians, and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and evidence-based practices.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Licensure: Must hold a current and valid RN license.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in nursing practice; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Schedule and Compensation
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: Night (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension.
