Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry to join our team in Waco, TX. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and respond to any changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
BLS & ACLS certification (required)
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
