Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team on a contract basis in Murfreesboro, TN. This is a night shift position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population on the Medical Surgical floor.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress, assess conditions, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and patient needs.
