Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room to join our healthcare team in Anderson, IN. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, demonstrating strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and treat patients with acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols
- Monitor and document patient responses to interventions
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana (or compact license)
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
