Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience Form setting, setting steel preformed forming systems
- The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation
- The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required
Responsibilities
- This position is accountable for building and setting forms made of wood, metal, vinyl, and other materials in accordance with customer specifications (plans)
- The Form Setter drives wooden and metal stakes with a sledgehammer and hammers or screws nails and other fasteners to secure the forms
- The incumbent must have the ability and flexibility to work varying shifts and long hours (8-12 hours)
- Weekend work and extra hours occur according to production needs and at the discretion of the Supervisor
- The incumbent must support the guiding beliefs and core values of Orion which are centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork, most importantly with each built upon the all-important foundation of Integrity
- Builds, erects, and aligns forms for various concrete structures and pier foundations utilizing preformed forming systems
- Performs the setting of anchor bolts for drilled pier foundations
