About the Role
As a UCC Inspector III, you will ensure construction projects meet all applicable building codes and safety regulations. You will work closely with builders, developers, and design professionals to ensure quality and compliance from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of building plans and specifications for code compliance.
- Perform field inspections of residential and commercial projects.
- Identify and resolve compliance issues during all phases of construction.
- Maintain inspection records and issue corrective actions or approvals as needed.
- Represent ARRO and uphold our standards with professionalism and purpose.
What We Are Looking For
- Current ICC and PA UCC certifications are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building code enforcement or inspection.
- Deep understanding of construction codes and industry practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Working Environment
- Based out of an ARRO office with field work throughout the region.
- Field conditions may include outdoor environments, variable temperatures, and physical inspection demands.
