Job Overview
The Outside Sales Representative is an exciting opportunity to join our team and drive revenue growth through new sales and account management. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting, selling, and securing new accounts, while maintaining existing customer relationships and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell building supplies and materials to contractors and builders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and contractors to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Assist in the selection of products best suited to customer needs and provide detailed pricing quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations.
- Resolves customer complaints and problems promptly and professionally.
- Collaborates with colleagues to coordinate project schedules, contractor schedules, and material deliveries.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in building materials or a related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of building materials industry and products, ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements, and estimating from blueprints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Valid Driver License required.
