Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Job Description

Partner Construction Products is searching for qualified, customer oriented and ambitious individuals to perform Numerous Duties Including Light maintenance and repairs of equipment. Equipment Deliveries, Cleaning Equipment, Cleaning and organizing the Yard as well as the shop Area, light Yard work weed eating sweeping, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Accurately reporting the condition of equipment before and after rental
• Delivering Equipment and Product as needed
• Demonstrating Equipment Operation
• Cleaning Shop
• Maintain Clean and Organized Warehouse
• Stay Self Motivated to stay Busy
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel. Position requires standing or sitting for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50lbs safely
• Loading/unloading equipment for customers and drivers
• Upon unloading of equipment, checking for damage to equipment
• Refueling of gasoline or diesel, oil, water levels for equipment, pressure washers and forklifts
• Cleaning and servicing of small air tools, small electric tools, and bulk rental items
• Testing equipment to make sure it works properly
• Occasional repainting of equipment and re-scribing of equipment numbers
• Assisting in the cleaning and maintenance of rental discharge, suction and other hoses
• Cleaning of larger rental items using a pressure washer on wash pad
• General safety knowledge and operation of walk-behind and ride-on equipment shop forklifts for moving of stationery and tow-behind equipment (compressors, light towers, generators, etc.)
• Use of high-pressure washers for cleaning of equipment
• Checking hour meters on equipment for use
• Cleaning warehouse and yard by sweeping shop floors, rearranging rental equipment or using pressure washer to clean the yard.
• Follow all Operational Procedures and QC Standards
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Job Requirements

Applicants should have a working knowledge of construction equipment, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. The applicant should possess strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to the position as well. Must Have a Clean Driving Record and be able to pull a trailer

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: $22.00 to $26.00 /hour
