Responsibilities
Act as a hands-on leader, addressing challenges with determination and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.Develop, implement, and oversee all clinical and operational aspects of the program.Provide supervision for clinical staff, including individual and group sessions, case conceptualization, and treatment team meetings.Carry a small caseload in the early stages to ensure high-quality service delivery.Monitor clinical staff activities, including group and individual therapy, documentation, and charting, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care.Spearhead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of clinical staff to build a strong, cohesive team.Design and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and meets regulatory standards.Collaborate with contracted billing companies and internal utilization review staff to streamline billing and utilization processes.Develop and oversee clinical performance improvement initiatives and track outcomes to refine program effectiveness.Liaise with community organizations and stakeholders to build partnerships and establish the program’s presence in the region.Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health-related field.Licensure in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or substance use treatment (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or similar).A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.Strong knowledge of ASAM and DSM criteria.At least 5 years of experience in Mental Health and / or Substance Use Treatment, preferably in an outpatient setting.Experience with startup organizations or program development is highly preferred.Demonstrated operational savvy, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on fostering a healthy and positive team culture.CLINICAL DIRECTOR BENEFITS
