BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHICIAN SALARY: $50,000-$60,000
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHICIAN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct support to clients during treatment sessions, providing any services required within the BHT scope. This includes transportation, peer support, and any other supportive services as appropriate.
- Monitor clients' progress and report any concerns or changes in behavior to the clinical team.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of treatment plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by enforcing center policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct drug testing and monitor clients for signs of substance use.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) training program, or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.
